About Our Department
The Middletown City School District is committed to two way communication between students, staff, parents, community and all other stakeholders by providing a channel for open, honest and thorough communication and collaboration that result in positive relationships that enhance student achievement.

We believe that this type of communication leads to a better understanding of how the district operates and about the many programs and services it offers. At the same time, it helps to foster a sense of pride in what we believe is a true community asset: A strong, comprehensive, progressive school district committed to meeting the educational needs of every child who comes through our doors.

Developing and managing the framework for this communication is the main responsibility of the Middletown City Schools Community Relations / Communication Office. Whether it's producing the district community newsletter, planning for community events; coordinating cable television programs; working with the local news media; or simply answering questions; the Community Relations / Communication Office strives to keep our stakeholders as informed as possible about the Middletown City Schools.
