Middletown Supplemental Educational Services Information

When schools don’t meet State targets for achievement, the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB) requires school districts to provide certain parents school choice. This means that parents of children enrolled in schools that receive Title I funding and that are identified for school improvement have the opportunity to obtain supplemental educational services (SES) - free tutoring, if eligible. The schools in Middletown that receive Title I funding and are designated to be in School Improvement for the school year 2011-2012 are:

• Amanda Elementary
• Creekview Elementary
• Highview 6th Grade Center
• Mayfield Elementary
• Rosa Parks Elementary
• Wildwood Elementary
• Middletown Middle School
