Well, here we are with the school year almost half over; hard to believe, isn't it? I wanted to take this opportunity to remind you of a few things. Please remember that office hours are 7:15 to 3:45 and student hours are 8:00 to 2:45 with early dismissal at 1:45 usually every other Wednesday beginning August 31. There are months when we will dismiss early on back to back Wednesdays due to testing and/or other reasons. December is one such month with early release falling on December 14 and 21. We will send home a list of those dates periodically as reminders.

One more important reminder. This year we have an additional 100 students which means many more phone calls coming into the office. If you need to change your child's dismissal plan at the end of the school day we respectfully ask that you please try and make those calls by 1:30. We realize that last minute emergency situations do arise and we will try our very best to accommodate those but simply can not guarantee last minute calls will be delivered to the classroom in time for dismissal. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
