Welcome to Highview Sixth Grade Center. There are two upcoming important events for our incoming 6th grade students. The first is "Highview Confidential Day Camp" on Saturday, August 13th. The camp will be from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM at First United Methodist Church located across from the library on Broad Street. The theme of the camp is Middle School Confidential, the book distributed to 5th grade students this past spring. Your child is invited to attend for free but please call the church at 423-4629 to reserve a seat. The second event is for new sixth grade students and their families. Our Highview Orientation/Open House will be on Monday, August 15th. First United Methodist Church will be hosting the cookout starting at 6:00 PM (behind the school) in the park area). Student Orientation will be from 6:30 until approximately 7:30 PM. Students will receive their schedule for the year, meet their teachers, etc. I look forward to meeting you at Highview Confidential Day Camp on the 13th and the Orientation/Open House on the 15th!
