The Middletown Boys JV Bowling team won their first match of the season by wrangling the Harrison Wildcats to defeat them by a whopping 339 pins!
Leading the Middies to victory was Freshman Donavon Woodward, when he threw 2 great games of 182 & 200! Way to go Donavon! Senior Nathan Bennett started his 2-game set with a good 145 game, and followed it up with a 106! Freshman Dawson Hilleary was pretty consistent on the day, rolling a 113 & 123! And both Freshmen Eli Isaac & Jordan Davis each bowled a 109!
The boys were up by 182 pins going into the Baker round, and just needed to keep doing what they were doing to take the win. They came together for the best Baker round so far, shooting a 119, 138, a nice 162, & a 138! Great job team!
The Middies are now 1-2 overall. The team heads to Rollhouse Lanes this Friday to take on the Fairfield Indians, barring any severe weather conditions. Scheduled start time is 4:00pm.
GO MIDDIES!
