The Middletown Boys JV Bowling team bowled well in their away match against Fairfield on Friday, but just not enough to get the win against their very good opponent.

Freshman Donavon Woodward was high man of the day with games of 163 & 132! Close to him was Freshman Dawson Hilleary, shooting a 159 and a 123! Freshmen Eli Isaac tossed a 130 for game 1 of his set, while Senior Nathan Bennett rolled a 115!

The boys were only down by only 48 pins after the first regular game, but their scores dropped sharply for game 2, and the Indians pretty much equaled their first game, but the deficit ballooned to -237.

The Middies had a few low games during the Baker round, putting together a 111, 73, & 123, before finding their groove to tack on a nice 156 for their final game. But they didn't have enough to overtake the Indians.

The Middies are now 1-3 overall. The team comes back home to Eastern Lanes for their final match before the winter break, when they take on Colerain for a scheduled start time of 3:30pm.
