The Middletown Boys Varsity Bowling team beat Chaminade Julienne in their match yesterday at Poelking Wilmington Lanes in Dayton!

Leading the pack and firing an awesome 230 game to begin his set was Sophomore Harlynn Davis, who then backed it up with a 150! Way to go Harlynn! Junior Riley Pritchard started off with a 139, but then came storming back with a very nice 206 for game #2! Great job! Senior Eddie Pritchard was pretty consistent with his 2 games of 147 & 145. Freshman Ben Bales rolled a 138 & a 141, while teammate Sophomore Brent Shaw shot a 144 & a 126.

After the 2 regular games, the boys were up by 60 pins, but that's still too close for comfort. For the 1st Baker game, the team could only muster up a 139 to their opponent's 154, losing 15 pins and dropping the lead down to 45. But suddenly they found their groove and came back with 3 good Baker games of 201, 190, & 180 to finish the match and pull out the win by 134 pins! Awesome!

The Middies record improves to 4-2 overall, and remains at 3-1 in the GMC! The team will travel to Gilmore Lanes on Thursday to take on Princeton for another exciting GMC match! Start time is set 4:00pm. If you can make it there, we would love to see you cheering for your Middies!
