The Middletown Girls Varsity Bowling team took on the Charminade Julienne Eagles yesterday in a very close match that was held at Poelking Wilmington Lanes in Dayton.

Leading the Middies was Sophomore Kaitlyn Kincer after starting off with a very good game of 166, which is her season high game, and finishing with a 118! Congrats Kaitlyn! Junior Emma Kruse was pretty consistent in her 2 game set by shooting a 144 & 137! Sophomore Braelyn Bates also bowled her highest game of the season with a very nice 171, and then came back with a 110! Way to go Braelyn! Teammate and Senior Harley Bailey tossed a 103.

The team was up by only 3 pins before heading into the Baker round, so it was still anybody's match to win! Our girls came out firing for the first game and bowled their highest Baker of the season with an awesome 164, which pushed their lead to 45 pins! But unfortunately, their opponent would not go away and kept cutting into the deficit and took the win from the Middies by just 22 pins. Keep your head up ladies!

The girls bowled very well and had their highest total team pinfall of the season! A lot of high accomplishments were made!

The Lady Middies record drops to 0-6 overall, and remains at 0-4 in the GMC. They will take on Princeton for their next GMC matchup on Thursday at Gilmore Lanes in Fairfield at 4:00pm. We would love to see you there!

GO MIDDIES!
