The Middletown Girls Varsity Bowling team lost their GMC match to the Princeton Vikings yesterday at Gilmore Lanes. Their opponent bowled 200 pins over their season average, and our girls unfortunately bowled under their average.

High bowler for the day was Junior Emma Kruse, after shooting a 147 and a great game of 178! Sophomore Kaitlyn Kincer rolled a 108 & 117. Freshmen Isabella Bryant-Thomas bowled a game of 110, and Senior Harley Bailey had a score of 100.

The team was down by 173 pins going into the Baker round, which isn't too far out of reach, but their opponent put up some decent scores and the Lady Middies just couldn't catch them. Our girls rolled games of 127, 93, 99, & 107.

The Lady Middies record drops to 0-7 overall, and 0-5 in the GMC. They will participate in the annual Lancer Baker Bash on Saturday at Northwest Lanes in Fairfield. It consists of 16 Baker games before cutting to the top 16 for bracket play. Start time is set for 10:00am Hope to see you here!

GO MIDDIES!
