The Middletown Boys JV Bowling team lost their match yesterday at home to Lakota East by just 90 pins. The boys bowled very well and actually had their highest match total of the season!

High man for the Middies was Freshman Donavon Woodward when he fired off 2 great games of 180 & 158, for a 169 average! Great job Donavon! Freshman Eli Isaac threw 2 pretty good games himself with scores of 141 & 123! Way to go! Senior Nathan Bennett started his set with a 116 and then came back with a 134 for game 2! Freshman Dawson Hilleary was consistent in his 2-game set with a 114 and a 117, and Freshman Luis Magley-Jones bowled a 106.

The team was down by only 57 pins heading into the Baker round, so they weren't out of it yet. Three out of the 4 games were way above their average, with scores of 132, 149, and 149, but with a low 2nd game of 93 to their opponents 157, they just could not catch them by the end of the match. Very nice try boys! Keep it up!

The Middies' overall record drops to 3-4. The team now travels to Madison Bowl on Friday to take on Summit Country Day. The match is scheduled 4:00pm. See ya there!
