The Middletown Boys JV Bowling team lost their match yesterday vs Oak Hills at S&S Western Bowl.
The Middies were short 1 bowler due to an injury, which is why our scores were a little lower, and it also makes it harder for a team of 4 to win against a team of 5.
High bowler for the team was Freshman Donavon Woodward who started off slow with a 118, but then found his groove to come back with a great game of 168! Not too far behind his teammate in total pinfall was Freshman Eli Isaac who shot a 114 for his first game, but also came back with a very good 157! Senior Nathan Bennett bowled a 106 and then a 127 for his set, and Freshman Luis Magley-Jones tossed a 109.
Due to time restrictions, the match was limited to only 2 Baker games, where our boys put together scores of 124 and 98, which just wasn't enough to pull out the win.
The Middies' record drops to to 4-5 overall. The team has another short break before they take on the Mason Comets at home next Wednesday. The match is scheduled 3:30pm. See ya there!
GO MIDDIES!
