The Middletown Boys Varsity Bowling team fell to a very good GMC team from Oak Hills for their match yesterday at S&S Western Bowl.

There can be several reasons why our team did not do well, including the lanes breaking down during practice and not getting enough practice time, missing too many spares, and took on a team that not only is good, but knows how to play the lanes at their own house. But this can go for any team at any bowling alley, and the boys will learn from this and do better next time.

Leading the Middies was Junior Riley Pritchard, who started off with a 150, but then came storming back with an amazing game of 241, which is also his highest of the season! Great job Riley! Junior Ethan Isaac started off strong in his 2-game set with a very nice 202 and finished it off with a 161! Just 2 pins behind his teammate in total pinfall was Sophomore Harlynn Davis throwing a great game of 214 in his set! Senior Eddie Pritchard rolled a very good game of 191, and Junior Brent Shaw shot a 159!

The boys were way down to their opponent after the regular games, so we decided to at least have some fun for Bakers. The team posted scores of 194, 167, 161, & 141. Keep your heads up boys!

The Middies record falls to 6-4 overall, and 4-3 in the GMC. Next they will take on Mt. Healthy this Friday at Eastern Lanes, which is scheduled to start at 3:30pm. See you there!
