The Middletown Girls Varsity Bowling team was defeated by the Middletown Christian Eagles on Thursday at Eastern Lanes.
High scorer for the girls was Sophomore Kaitlyn Kincer who threw a very good game of 152 and then a 137! Junior Emma Kruse shot a 138 and a 128 in her 2-game set! Sophomore Braelyn Bates bowled a 127 and a 114, and Freshman Allison Pritchard rolled a 117!
The Lady Middies did pretty good in posting their scores of 123, 121, 147, and 97 for their Baker round, but it just wasn't enough to overtake their talented opponent from MCS. Keep your heads up girls! We knew this was going to be a tough one.
The teams' record goes to 2-12 overall, and remains at 0-8 in the GMC. The girls will face the Sycamore Aviators next match Wednesday at Eastern Lanes at 3:30pm. It is also Senior Night! Come on out and cheer on the Lady Middies to victory and help us celebrate all of our Seniors! The Senior Night ceremony will begin at 3:00pm sharp.
GO MIDDIES!
