The Middletown Boys JV Bowling team easily took down the Sycamore Aviators yesterday in their home match at Eastern Lanes! They bowled so well as a team that they posted their highest series of the season!
Freshman Donavon Woodward was on fire and burned up the lanes to lead the team to victory when he shot 2 amazing games of 221 & 198, for a 419 total and a 209.5 average! His 221 is his highest game is his highest of the season, and his 419 total is his highest series! Great job Donavon! Freshman Eli Isaac threw 2 good games also with his 139 & 126! Freshman Dawson Hilleary rolled a 106 and a 129! Freshman Luis Magley-Jones shot a good game of 130 and Senior Nathan Bennett bowled a 121!
The boys also had their highest regular game of the season with a 694 for game #1! The Middies were up by 374 pins before the Baker round! Wow!
Cruise control was on, but the boys still put on a show with the best Baker round of the year with games of 153, 161 & 142! They won by an outstanding 502 pins! Great job boys! Way to go!
Before the match, we had our Senior Night ceremony, and we got to recognize our 1 and only Senior on the team, Nathan Bennett! We want to wish him the best of luck in her future endeavor as an official Middletown firefighter, and we will miss you once the season is officially over!
The team' record improves to 6-6 overall. Their match against Carlisle for Thursday has been canceled due to their opponent having to make-up a conference match because of the weather last week. We are trying to reschedule the match, but if that doesn't happen, we want to go ahead and congratulate the JV Boys team on a great season!
GO MIDDIES!
