The Middletown Girls Varsity Bowling team lost their 2nd straight match of the new season to Hamilton Big Blue yesterday at Pohlman Lanes
The lanes appeared to be tricky and slick, which always push the scores down for all bowlers competing in the match. And with struggling to pick up their spares, the girls scores showed it. Junior Emma Kruse led the team with her scores of 117 & 144! Sophomore Braelyn Bates threw her highest game so far with a 130! And Sophomore Kaitlyn Kincer broke the 100 mark with a 105!
The team was down 319 pins after the 2 regular games, but they gave it a shot to make a comeback in the Baker round. They came of together for 2 nice games of 134 each, but with a sub par middle game, it just wasn't enough to make up the difference.
Your Middies come back to Eastern Lanes on Wednesday to host the Harrison Wildcats. Start time is scheduled for 3:30pm, so if you make it, we'd love to have you there to cheer on the Lady Middies to victory!
GO MIDDIES!
